Operational Excellence (OpEx) pursues the goal of creating the best possible value at the lowest possible expense or effort, within the entire value chain, to become excellent in services, processes and integration with the use of OpEx tooling and methodologies.
In close collaboration with the Operational Excellence Manager, establish key relationships with our relevant internal and external stakeholders to gain trust and credibility, while developing solutions for the internal organization and its customers in the process from order to cash. In order to achieve this, OpEx will propose, plan and deliver a wide set of projects within the entire value chain, with as goal to increase customer loyalty, traceability, safety and efficiency.

Business Partner
To participate in all relevant projects to optimize the order to cash process at the customer as well as B. Braun, and to improve the overall performance of the Business Support department, in close collaboration with all stakeholders.
To work in tandem with, and as backup for, the Operational Excellence Manager in all relevant Business Support projects, process improvements and methodologies.
Project Management
To ensure a standardized Business Support project approach by centralizing all Business Support project requests, and by documenting, applying and communicating the project methodology.
To report on a regular basis on project status, planning, issues and risks for all Business Support projects, while actively make proposals for improvement.
To lead and support relevant Business Support projects in close collaboration with the Operational Excellence Manager and with the functional business owners.
Operational Excellence
To embed 'Operational Excellence' in the BNL organization by translating OpEx techniques into a concept, and by implementing this concept into daily operations in our organization.
To conduct workshops with the use of the OpEx techniques, in order to drive continuous improvement and increase lean awareness in the organization, and in order to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
To coordinate and evaluate the implementation of those optimisation processes on all levels to ensure a minimal transition phase towards daily business.
Technical Expertise
To have a good insight in all relevant order to cash processes and B.Braun IT solution platform, and to continuously develop and maintain technical and legislative expertise and knowledge.
Compliance
In close collaboration with the Operational Excellence manager, to ensure that internal and customer related processes comply with all local and regional regulations 8: legislations and with the B. Braun strategy, in order to guarantee good business practices.
