Business Controller

• Support general controlling, sales and central division controlling and sustainability controlling. Develops and implements systems and processes, prepares financial and management analyses, presents findings to senior management, and provides risk management reporting and consulting.
• Coordinates external audits entities in close collaboration with the CFO, the financial department & management team.
• Supports in preparation of investments and their related Business Cases.
• Responsible for specific areas of cost accounting focused on allocation and analysis of direct and indirect costs including variance analysis reports comparing actual to budget and focused on pricing of new products or services.
• Preparing and consolidating statutory financial statements and reporting to Group based on application of relevant accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS). Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet analysis, cashflow statements, including variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports. Analyzing impacts of new accounting, regulatory and reporting standards on existing and new transactions.
• Domestic and international tax accounting, planning and optimization. Including calculation of tax liabilities, tax form preparation, transfer pricing, and external filing/reporting and the consultation with external consultants on tax matters (e.g. auditors and regulatory agencies).
• Act diligently and according to compliance guidelines by receiving, documenting & prompt forwarding of complaints/ADRs (Adversed Drug reactions). 

Education/Professional experience

• Academic degree or equivalent by experience in Accounting/Controlling. Preferably RA/RC or equivalent certification
• Minimum 3 years of financial experience
• Proven experience in Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of Business and fiscal rules and regulations
• Experience within the healthcare environment is a major plus
